When you register an account with us, we collect your name, email address, and profile image. If you register through an OAuth2 platform, including but not limited to Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub, we collect your account ID from that platform.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your IP address, web browser, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. We also collect data about your visit, including the web pages you view and how you interact with those pages.

We may share your personal information with third-party companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Site (such as customer support, hosting, analytics, email delivery, marketing, and database management services). We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to help us understand your use of our Site and the popularity of our content. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Site, including the web pages you visit, add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving our Site. We collect and use this analytics information with analytics information from other Users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual User.
We may disclose your personal information to a third party if (a) we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (b) to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of service, (c) to protect the security or integrity of Cratecode’s products and services, (d) to protect Cratecode, our customers or the public from harm or illegal activities, or (e) to respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person.
All registered users may review, update, correct or delete the personal information in their registration profile by contacting us, or by making edits via the "Account" section of the Site. If you completely delete all such information, then your account may become deactivated. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor your requests for deletion but may retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
We may use some of the information we collect for marketing purposes, including to send you promotional communications about new Cratecode features, products, events, or other opportunities. If you wish to stop receiving these communications or to opt out of use of your information for these purposes, please follow the opt-out instructions by clicking "Unsubscribe" (or similar opt-out language) in those communications. We retain personal information as long as we deem it useful to provide you services, or as required by law. We do dispose of your personal information if you delete your account. However, we may retain some of your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, support business operations, and continue to develop and improve our Site.
Our Site is not directed to persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without their consent, they should contact us. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.
We use certain physical, managerial, and technical safeguards designed to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. We reserve the right to change this policy from time to time, and we will notify you about significant changes by updating the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this policy, and by notifying you via email or by other prominent notification on our Site.
